Brunel Broderers: An exhibition to wonder at!

Fantastic exhibition at the Museum in the Park in Stroud by Corinne Hockley. It finishes today at 4.00. A walk amongst winter fairy tale trees with a multitude of small hand made details to delight the imagination. Let's hope it goes on tour!

Brunel Broderers

The Brunel Broderers are a group of artists based in the South West of England who work in a variety of textile media and methodologies.
The group has built up a following within the textile world in challenging expectations of a medium traditionally called 'embroidery'.
Today their work defies a neat title encompassing as it does a diverse range of approaches, methods and materials to create a series of ideas for thematic schemes and exhibitions.

The group meets on a regular basis, holding workshops and providing a network of support and a forum for discussion. All group members are involved in promoting textiles to a wider audience.
